The molecular biology laboratory is a well equipped lab supporting high-priority research activities in different area of modern biotechnology. The laboratory offers state-of-the-art instrumentation for recombinant DNA technology such as cloning and recombinant expression, DNA and protein analysis, protein purification, test design and developments, and tissue culture. Currently, researches in our laboratory focused on the development, advancement and implementation of innovative biological tools for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of human diseases.

Among the areas currently under investigation :
- Development of recombinant therapeutics and Diagnostics
-  Immunotoxins
- Genotyping and identification of SNPs and mutations linked   to diseases
- New vaccine candidates against infectious Disease.
